What this site offers

This site provides information about rare and collectible books and custom-library planning. The first catalogue is in preparation. There is no live online checkout. An enquiry does not place an order, reserve a book or start a paid engagement.

Custom libraries

Small libraries start at $2,500; larger projects range up to $75,000. These are planning budgets, not fixed-price packages. A written proposal sets out the books, work, timing, exclusions and payment terms. Books, curation, cataloguing, freight, insurance, any installation and tax are itemized in the proposal.

Procurement begins only after the scope, book list and payment terms are agreed. Delivery and any installation are agreed for each project.

Books, sourcing and other enquiries

Availability, price and copy-specific details must be confirmed before a purchase. No purchase, consignment, sourcing engagement or valuation begins until its scope and terms are agreed in writing. A dealer asking price is a comparison, not a realized sale.

Terms for a particular engagement

This page is not a sales contract or a project-specific waiver. Payment, delivery, cancellation, returns and any on-site work need to be addressed in the written terms for the particular engagement. No universal returns window or cancellation fee is stated here.
